We welcome you to the A- and B-level youth tournament series Paide Winter Cup 2026, held in the warm Paide Football Hall!
In Paide, you will find the best conditions in Estonia, without competition.
The indoor temperature of the football hall is at least +12°C, the hall is spacious, and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant tournament experience.
A café offering hot and cold food is open, and the stands have plenty of room for all teams and spectators.

Guide
The tournament will be played on artificial-turf pitches in the Paide Football Hall.
Age Groups
18.01.2026 – Boys’ tournament, 2016 age group, A-level
01.02.2026 – Girls’ tournaments, 2013 and 2015 (morning + afternoon)
08.02.2026 – Boys’ tournament, 2017 age group, A-level
15.02.2026 – Boys’ tournament, 2014 age group, A-level
PLEASE NOTE!
In each match, up to two players are allowed to participate who are born after 1 August of the year preceding the main birth year of the age group.
A team that violates this rule will be disqualified and the participation fee will not be refunded.
Format and Rules
2014 age group
Children play 9v9 (2×18 minutes), max 16 players per team.
Ball size: 4. Pitch size 64×44 m, goals 5×2 m.
Rolling substitutions. Offside is applied.
2016 age group
Children play 7v7 (2×13 minutes), max 15 players per team.
Ball size: 3. Pitch size 64×44 m, goals 5×2 m.
Rolling substitutions. Offside is not applied.
2017 age group
Children play 5v5 (2×11 minutes), max 12 players per team.
Ball size: 3. Pitch size 40×25 m, goals 5×2 m.
Rolling substitutions. Offside is not applied.
Girls 2013 age group
Played 9v9 (2×15 minutes), max 15 players per team.
Ball size: 4. Pitch size 64×44 m, goals 5×2 m.
Rolling substitutions. Offside is applied.
Girls 2015 age group
Played 7v7 (2×12 minutes), max 13 players per team.
Ball size: 3. Pitch size 60×40 m, goals 5×2 m.
Rolling substitutions. Offside is not applied.
If a club participates with more than one team in the same tournament, players may not be rotated between teams.
Any possible protests must be submitted to the organisers immediately when they arise.
If the team has already started its next match, the protest will not be considered.
The referees of the tournament hold an Estonian FA licence.
Referee decisions on the field are final; the organiser will not interfere with referees’ work or change their decisions.
Tournament System
Maximum number of teams:
- 2014 age group: 8 teams
- 2016 age group: 10 teams
- 2017 age group: 12 teams
- Girls 2013: 10 teams
- Girls 2015: 8 teams
Teams are divided into two groups, where group standings are determined.
Placement matches will be played according to group position (A1–B1, A2–B2, etc.).
If fewer teams register than the maximum, the organisers reserve the right to adjust the tournament format.
Each team is guaranteed at least 5 matches.
Group standings are determined by total points:
Win = 3 points, Draw = 1 point, Loss = 0 points.
Tiebreakers
If teams finish level on points, the ranking is determined by:
- Result(s) between the tied teams
- Overall goal difference
- Higher number of goals scored
- Penalty shootout (3 players)
Awards
The top three teams of each age group will receive medals and a team trophy.
Each age group will also select the best goalkeeper and best outfield player, who will receive individual trophies.
Catering, Parking, and Other Information
Coaches’ meals (max 2 coaches per team) are provided free of charge by the organisers.
A café is open inside the football hall, offering drinks, pastries, salty and sweet snacks, and warm food. Payment by cash or card.
Parking is available in front of the football hall and nearby. Parking is free.
Spectators may stay only along the sidelines of the pitches.
The end lines and technical areas are reserved only for coaches and players.
Spectators are not allowed to interfere with the work of coaches or referees.
Positive support and fan items (drums, horns, etc.) are welcome!
